One of many idyllic small bading towns along the cost right north for Barcelona. Go by train from Sants station. Ocata is aprox 30 min and has a beautiful beach, but is only one of many options along the cost.

If you want to go to the beach like a local, just hop on a train and head to Ocata. Less people, cleaner, more beach for yourself...

Great beach. Much less crowded than Barceloneta. Clean water. Lifeguards. About 40 minutes on the train from Plaza Catalunya
