This ship bow-shaped, panelled boozer is a Grade II-listed building and since the 1850s has served visitors from land and sea on the corner of The Baltic Triangle. The pub has its own microbrewery, a wood-burning stove, nautical odds and ends and a top food menu so it’s the perfect place for a cosy pint this winter.

This pub is just downstairs from our flat. It is small, friendly, and has great ales.

Top Ten Pub This historic dockside pub, Liverpool’s only brewpub, brewed downstairs in the cellars. The Baltic Fleet itself is an unapologetically no-frills affair, a bare-bones boozer.
