Senj town, distance 100 km. Nehaj Fortress, a symbol of the city of Senj, was built in 1558 under the supervision of Captain and General of the Croatian Military Border Ivan Lenković and Captain Herbart VIII. Auersperg Turjaški. It was built from the materials of ruined churches, monasteries and houses originally located outside the city walls.
