The Royal Victoria Country Park is a country park in Netley, Hampshire, England, by the shores of Southampton Water. It comprises 200 acres of mature woodland and grassy parkland, as well as a small shingle beach. From 1863 until 1966, the site was home to the Royal Victoria Hospital.

It is only a fifteen minute walk to the park. It takes my breath away every time I visit. Plenty of open space and great views down to the Solent. Make sure you don’t miss the Military Cemetery to the rear of the hospital site. 3 miles away…as quick to walk.

A beautiful country park with full beach frontage. 20-30 minute walk from the village or there is plenty of parking. Steeped in WWII history and sporting a miniature steam railway!
