I stayed at Amy's place for 6 weeks and it was awesome! La Veleta is removed from Centro which is what I wanted but the area is full of good restaurants, bars and stores. The building itself is calm but I was there during low-season so it might be different at other times. The unit looks just like the photos...compact but very functional, comfortable and clean. I work remotely and the wifi was strong and fast. The staff at Edificio Panoramic are extremely friendly and helpful, the pool is lovely as is the garden area. Amy herself was a thoughtful and caring host, always checking on my well-being and extremely proactive when things didn't go as planned...excellent host! I truly enjoyed my experience at Amy's and would definitely stay again. Gracias por todo, Amy!

We loved our stay at Amy's place. Quiet, very clean and comfortable, with all the listed amenities and just like the photos. The area has many very nice restaurants and cafes, serving lovely food. There is some building work in the Tulum area but there was no active construction work going on whilst we were there. Amy did contact us prior to check-in to notify us that one of the air conditioning units in the apartment was faulty, which she was only made aware of on the previous guest's check-out. Amy kept us up-to-date with expected repair times and tried her utmost to sort out the problem. As it was, this did not impact too much on us, as the other AC units in the apartment were fully working and the apartment itself does not get too hot, as it only receives late afternoon sun and is remarkably cool with just the use of the ceiling fans.
We would recommend hiring a scooter or car to see other parts of Tulum.

most importantly, this place cools down quickly (it was VERY hot in Tulum). There was plenty of space for 2+ people, and good restaurants nearby (including gluten free options - check out Fitalicious or the Good Donut) and groceries nearby. I don't know I will back (I'm more a mountain person), but if I come back, I will definitely want to stay there again, so highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Amy’s place. The condo was very clean and spacious, and the building was well-maintained. We loved the pool! The space was even bigger than we expected and the wifi worked perfectly for remote work.
