I got to know Italy almost half a century ago: another era, pre-hightech, when 3 months in Italy represented full cultural immersion away from home. It was one of the most colourful and happy periods in my life and I have always cherished the memories of the kindness, hospitality and enthusiasm the Italians provided me with.
Staying with Giuseppe was an unexpected throwback experience into that era: both because of his classical, tastefully decorated apartment with fantastic sea views and his utter kindness, enthusiasm and respectful eye for our needs and preferences. We felt totally at home and are grateful for receiving the treatment befitting old friends or guests of honour instead of tourists. We could not possibly recommend Giuseppe, his wife Nathasha and the apartment more.

Giuseppe was very kind, helpful and responsive, and we felt very at home in the apartment. Great location - the closest beach is only five minutes walk away (bear in mind the 83 steps!), and shops, bars and restaurants and the quaint old part of town also a short walk away. Agropoli itself is also a good base for exploring the beautiful Cilento coast and mountains. In October some tourist structures in the region are already closed for the season but there are plenty of places still open and the advantage is that everywhere is quieter. We can highly recommend Giuseppe’s apartment.

We had a wonderful time at this place. Beautiful views, plenty of room, close to everything. Giuseppe was awesome. He offered to pick us up and drop us off which saved us carrying our luggage across town. He is very quick to reply. We had a lightbulb burn out and he was there the next day. He takes pride in his properties. He even helped me with getting a delivery to the Airbnb. Great value and great property

From the moment I arrived, the apartment felt like home. The kitchen was equipped with everything I could possibly need, making it easy and enjoyable to cook. The view was magnificent, and the interior was full of charming details that made the whole place feel like a true home – cosy and welcoming. The shared outside table under the flowers was such a lovely added detail, perfect for enjoying meals or just sitting with a glass of wine. This did not feel like any other Airbnb, but truly like a home away from home. Giuseppe was incredibly kind and always ready with helpful tips about the area. I couldn’t have asked for a better host or a more wonderful stay – I’m already planning to come back this spring.
