We loved our stay. Charlène was the perfect host - welcoming and briefing us before we arrived. Great location - down a quiet street, but easy access to the metro, shops and restaurants. A terrific home away from home.

We had an amazing stay at Charlène's and felt very Parisienne. It is very central and the metro is on your doorstep. We loved the natural furnishings and decor of the flat as it was very aligned with our taste and all of comforts of home (bodywash, toiletries, teas, olive oil etc). The bed was very comfortable and great for our jet lagged bodies (we love a firm bed).

Couple of things to note: you do need to be able to carry your luggage up 2 flights of narrow spiral staircase and the street below is quite noisy late into the evening (we left the window open for sleeping as it was quite warm during our stay). Heavy sleepers should have no issues!

Charlene was a great host, with very pleasant communication and helpful local recommendations. I think this apartment is truly a good deal. Of course, there are a few things that need fixing, which we already discussed with Charlene. Since this is her own home and not a professionally managed rental, I believe she will gradually take care of those issues, and staying here will become even more enjoyable.
