This is a very nice family home with a beautiful location overlooking the fjord. As other reviewers have noted, it is very much a family home where you can tell that people live there - rather than a spotless and impersonal rental property. If you are looking for something that feels ultra clean and untouched, this is probably not the best option for you. But for our family, this was great. The kids were so excited to see the toys and trampoline, and they were just disappointed that the cats weren't around during our visit. We used the house as a base to explore all over the region, and we loved taking the ferries to get around from Sogndal to various other points. The heated floor in the basement was so cozy, and there was plenty of room for our family of 5. Cecilia was not feeling well during our stay so we didn't meet her, but she was easy to reach and responded quickly whenever we reached out. I had asked her about hikes in the area, and I was very happy to find a guide to 25 great hikes when we arrived. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

Stayed here for a night. Cecilia was very prompt with her replies. The house is very spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Check in was easy and no frills. Bed linens are provided, you’ll lay your own sheets and clear them before you leave. Fresh loaves of bread are provided as breakfast.
