I had booked this as a long-term stay for my husband and I while we shop for a home but knew right away we wouldn't be able to stay. While the layout is great, the property is just not well maintained. Grass out front clearly has not been cut, the couch had stains and the bathroom had patches. May have toughed it out for a short stay but not several weeks/months. The location was convenient though.

The house was perfect for what we needed. Location was great and hosts were responsive. Will definitely book here again when we're in Houston.

Clean and quiet.

This place is ok at best. It’s in the middle of the hood but pretty close to a lot of things. The bathroom was nice but the beds were hard as a rock. There were tons of flies and the were large portions of walls that were patched and it repainted. It was pretty clean though after the maid came. Except the grass. It’s hasn’t been cut in weeks. It was like a jungle. Our check in was horrible. We got there around 4 and couldn’t get in because we were sent the wrong codes. I had to call multiple times to get the correct codes. Then the house wasn’t ready because they “though we were going to a different place”. The guy said “well since you just booked this place, and the person before had a family emergency, we haven’t had time to prepare the place for you.” That was a lie, we booked the place a month in advance. We had also been receiving text messages about the place for 2 weeks. I hate to have my intelligence insulted. If someone drops the ball, just say that. Don’t try to put your incompetence off on other people.
