Craft natural remedies at a hidden urban farm in LA

Step into the world of herbal alchemy at Little City Farm, an urban oasis in the heart of LA. This immersive workshop invites you to engage with the land—touch, smell, and work with fresh herbs and citrus—learning the art of balm-making from farm to jar. We begin with a guided farm tour, sharing the story of this special space and its connection to regenerative farming and sustainable practices. A grounding ritual follows, using fragrant herbs to awaken the senses. Then, the magic begins: Harvest & Prep – I’ll show you how to pick fresh rosemary, lemon verbena, and kumquats, clean them, and prepare them for dehydration. Processing & Infusion – Crush dried herbs, measure ingredients, and infuse oils, learning how plants transform into potent healing remedies. This hands-on experience is deeply engaging, yet meditative—an opportunity to slow down, connect with nature, and carry new knowledge forward. You’ll leave with an understanding of the process and a newfound appreciation for the power of plants. You’ll also receive a discount for our farm’s natural products.

Guided History/Filming Location Hike at Scenic Runyon Canyon

Come with me, a tour guide and storyteller, on a two-hour guided hike through Runyon Canyon Park in the Hollywood Hills, for an engaging blend of history, filming locations, celebrity facts, and stunning views & photo opps. • We’ll meet at the lower gate, where I’ll introduce you to the area’s rich past as a lavish private estate, including tales of the ruins of an old mansion and greenhouse, the abandoned tennis court Errol Flynn played on, and the site of a Frank Lloyd Wright Jr. infinity pool few people know about. • On the way up, we’ll pass a forgotten neon sign that once rivaled the Hollywood sign, with some of the letters still hiding in the weeds from 100 years ago. We'll pass the historic Headley/Handley House, another Lloyd Wright-designed building and one of only two homes within Runyon Canyon, and take in breathtaking views of the LA skyline, Hollywood Hills, Griffith Observatory, and even the ocean on clear days. • Throughout our walk, I’ll share personal anecdotes about the frequent celebrity sightings within the park, local wildlife, the recent wildfire, and the canyon’s role as a location for movies including "The Screaming Skull" and "Scream 3." We’ll have ample time for photo opportunities at iconic landmarks, including the Hollywood sign. We’ll conclude with a group photo to commemorate the experience!

I’ll guide you through Pasadena’s scenic Lower Arroyo Seco Park, sharing my knowledge of the landscape and the native flora. • We’ll begin with a grounding meditation to help you connect with our natural surroundings. • As we walk through the park’s diverse habitats, I’ll point out native plants and talk about their cultural, culinary, and medicinal uses. • We’ll then approach this landscape through our other senses, taking in the aromas of Southern California’s native plants. You won’t just leave with a deeper knowledge of the ecosystem and cultural heritage of Los Angeles. You’ll receive a native plant guide to bring with you on future hikes through this beautiful region

Golden Hour Hike in Griffith Park with Top LA Trainer

Discover the backstory of a famous Los Angeles landmark while getting a great workout and moving at a strong pace up the mountain. Join me for a hike from the base of Griffith Park to its iconic Observatory, all set to a custom playlist of your favorite songs. • We’ll meet at the bear statue at the Fern Dell entrance to Griffith Park and begin our 50-minute, moderate hike up to the Observatory. • Along the way, I’ll share Griffith Park’s history and keep you motivated as we gain elevation. • We’ll end at the Griffith Park Observatory, where we’ll take in views of the Los Angeles skyline. From there, we can either continue back down together or I can offer you tips for alternate scenic routes with grander views of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Sign. • Get ready to work up a sweat while taking in the best views Los Angeles has to offer!
